I remember Irwin Jacobs being castigated here on SI in the 90s for not selling the company during an interview. He gave straight answers with little spin to the questions put to him. We investors did OK despite his supposedly poor performance.

Do you have immediate plans for your money tied up in QCOM? That would be unfortunate. If not, and the problem is merely perception, the fundamentals will shine through eventually. If the stock continues to sink indefinitely then there'll come a time when each will wonder if it's OUR perception that's wrong, but the memory chip issue is a true external independent of management.
