We seem to be the only ones holding up the thread for the time being. In any case, re: Millay and "First Fig" I guess I have to believe what is published rather then a post here on the thread for the time being. It was an interesting post however.
Here is one of mine.
We'll take Fall Together
Shall we take Fall together,
go sifting through the leaves
that fell, and gaze upon the golden hues
while waiting for the freeze?
We walk a little slower now,
our warm days have all but gone,
never mind, we'll bundle up,
now that Fall has come.
Shall we take Fall together
and talk of Summers past?
Our cold season seems to have begun
unsaid, we know it can't last.
When we go back I'll make a fire
against this evening chill
I'll watch the light dance on your skin
and recollect, then know again,
how much I love you still
