Right on @home is going to be a major HIT! The ultimate horizon for the internet is real-time video confrence. In this, all other possible demands of interaction could be met. @Home has got the method down...Of course we'll use what's already in our homes...Cable! Coaxial cable just beats the pants off of anything else for data transfer. The down side is that Coaxial cable transfers analogue data and can be very imprecise (cable flicker and shadows?) Also the down side is that I have no idea what the coaxial Fiberoptic hybrid cable is. It seems to me that images and animation or Bulk entertainment data could be carried by the analogue high volume coaxial while the actual object oriented programming requiring higher fidelity and interactive nature could be accomplished through fiberoptics as it is today. Is there a home page where I can find out more? PS other IPO's that will win big are XYLN, LYCS, and (Yahoo!)
