Mr. Pink's heart is enormous and is filled with love for the common man and for the individual investor. You are probably familiar with the legend of Mr. Pink's dear Mother, Mrs. Pink and how she was left a wealthy widow with Mr. Pink then Master Pink (as he was called by the servants at their mansion). All was fine with Mother Pink and young Master Pink living in a stately home and young Master Pink no longer a toddler and about to start day school when an unscrupulous stock broker befriended His sainted mother and caused her to invest her life savings in a number of so called growth stocks on margin.
As you may have heard the stocks went to zero and Mrs. Pink was forced to sell the ancestral home of Mr. Pink (now a museum) and was forced to work along side the very servants she once employed.
Master Pink shall never forget the humiliation she suffered and how embarrassed by her plight, she refused to stop working until all her creditors were paid. Of course there was no money often for food and she would go hungry to feed her young son. Then suffering from consumption, Mrs. Pink continued to work scrubbing floors until her dying day. On her death bed Mr. Pink's sainted mother told Him to become a value investor and to try whenever possible to expose the fraudulent brokers and companies that conspire to ruin the lives of good people for their own gain.
From His first days in the orphanage, Mr. Pink, remembering His mothers words read the stock pages and studied all he could about finance but also about philosophy, art, psychology, mathematics, metaphysics, taxidermy and all disciplines of knowledge and spirituality that has made Him the exalted analyst, defender of the individual investor and punisher of evil and criminality that He is
today.
And somewhere in Heaven above a sainted mother looks down says of her son, "You have made me proud."
It is in the memory of his dear departed mama that Mr. Pink has dedicated His life to the prosecution of Amos Aharoni. So it is not out of hatred or meanness that Mr. Pink pursues His prey but out of respect for His beloved mothers dying wish.
