You are right. Playing market fluctuations is a "suckers" game. However, buying a mildly overvalued stock right before the results of a "challenging" 3Q are released is also a "suckers" game. IOMG is incredibly volatile, and the stock is mildly overvalued (1-2 pts.) If the results are in any way less than the street expects, you WILL see a lot more shorters jumping aboard, causing IOMG to tank. However, if it performs slightly better, then IOMG will rocket. It's too much of a crap shoot (which is why this stock is so popular). Although I like gambling, I prefer playing stocks where the odds aren't fixed in the Market Makers' favor. Invest in a stock in which you will definitely make money.

P.S. I reccommended CYRX a week ago on this thread, and the stock is up ~33%, and will probably go up another 33%. There are still a lot of companies like CYRX out there. Do some research, invest this week, and then reap some great rewards.
