Ram,

Institutional holdings. I have seen reports varying between 6.1-7.0% (before Ws diluted shares) with 9 institutional units. This would be an average of around 35K shares, an amount I consider insignificant. I imagine they were part of the original IPO offering. However, with Deswell's continuing success and low prices, I would think they'd be adding to holdings.

There was strong support of Deswell at 15 when the Asian Panic hit and that may have been institutions. Then again, they may have been the ones selling. The Funds and Institutions were the primary sellers last Fall while individuals were the major buyers in the market.

Again we have a slow day like Wed. Reinforces my theory about a buyer jumping in when sell orders build up. Allows them to acquire large number of shares without running price up. Only explanation I have for the volume flucuations.

Jumping to conclusions,
Ron
