<<Since you brought it up, what are the exact quotes? >>
Since you asked, here goes:
From the Security Traders Handbook, Vol. 19 Number 1 Jan. 1993 ["Our goal is for our licensees to be able to commercialize the technology by the end of 1993, and go into production in 1994," says company President Bob Saxe, "although it's conceivable that a product could be out in 1993"]
["Our target will be to drastically reduce our loss this year and become profitable in 1994", Saxe says.]
["We are right on tract," says Saxe. "I'm expecting 1993 to be a very good year"]
At about that time the price of the stock was 3 3/4. It was the start of the 1993-1994 run-up. The stocked peaked at 11 in March 1994 before falling back to just under 5 in Dec. 1994. It stayed in a small range until the run-up in 1995.
Also for your information, this newsletter contains pictures of a window in both darkened and clear states. It was taken in a parking lot, and I'm sure I've seen this same picture somewhere else. The Newsletter was sent to me by REFR in 1995 (May?). There is no disclaimer as in Falkner's letter, but it gives a number where you can call for a company report, so I assume that it was part of a PR effort by REFR (Nothing wrong with that).
I have several others from 1993 and 1994. I suggest you call the company and see if they have any old copies they can send you.
