What crap! First you sanctimoniously criticize USA Today for allegedly quoting out of context, then claim that your comments were "a lot closer to the meaning of Greenspan's comments then the USA Today!"
What BS! Did you formerly work in D.C.? Dept. of Spite & Spin?
In your post 9735 you wrote: "Greenspan said...it appears almost all companies will successfully convert their code. Those remaining few would be left with 'a very large problem.'"
He said no such thing. You made it up!
You further wrote: Mr. Greenspan said that MOST of this money is being spent on new computer systems..."
He neither said nor implied any such thing. You made it up!
What he did say, inter alia, is that "we have such a large, high degree of uncertainty about what actually is out there that we cannot but employ very substantial amount of resources to find means to reduce the probability of the inevitable difficulties that are going to emerge." Etc., Etc.
Do you get a thrill out of fooling people? Or is it just business?
Regards, RMR.
