Hello Frank,
While it has been said that 30carat/100 ton would be economical enough for a mine, little has been said regarding gem quality.
I know that Argyle's gem quality is 5%, and they are economical.
Orapa's gem quality is only 15%.
What would be a minimum gem quality for Ashton to be economical,
or would a higher carat/100 tons mean a lower gem quality %
be required.
Do you think Ashton has some of these #'s as yet and when might they release them?
