After getting hit with nice losses this week in ISLI and DSYS I went back and looked at around 10 Y2x stocks I have owned or followed these past 8 months. They are all down quite a bit from their highs. Given that they were all driven up on big expectations how will you decide when ISLI or any of the others has been driven down enough to buy again. How can you possibly anticipate what these companies will make, and how the market will eventually value them given the big question mark surrounding just how much work there is to do, and how much the big companies will do in house. I was talking to someone at BofA the other day who works in this area, and he said they have budgeted $80 Mil. for the problem, but are using a lot of it to keep their own people from leaving. ( Don't take that as gospel, but it does make sense ). I was really hot on this whole sector a few months ago, but you can tell am rapidly losing my enthusiasm. Any upbeat comments would be appreciated.
