Poets and other madmen...

yes, I wrote four books of poetry back in the late 70's and early 80's, then wrote 6 plays, 3 went to the Joe Papp Theatre in NY, three went to the Los Angeles Actor's Guild (they use one to 3 act plays for scrrening bit part actors), one novel (unpublished) and one cookbook - although the latter was published as a limitied 3000 print issue and although the recipes are good they were all presold for my art - I paint in Oriental Brush (Sumi-e). I also created an electronic version of it that was latter incorporated in a European shareware magazine and CD. It originally was a Macintosh application, but I did create MS Word version of it, as well as several other word processing variations and a Newton application. It should still be available on the KAUI Software server in Atlanta if you want to download it. kaui.com or 205.218.104.78 - at least it was ther last time I looked, but you may have to rummage around the website to find it. If you use a PC and the PC version isn't there, email me at lastshadow@earthlink.nt and I will send you a zipped version of it. it has about a dozen of my paintings in that version.

Ignore the shareware stuff in the backmatter - its been freeware for a couple of years now, and all the art prints advertised in the back are gone also. I only paint for charity now.

As for 'lastshadow', well, thats a long story- its the anglicized version of nagin (shadow) ehakela (last) - the Lakota Sioux name given me by the tribal council (and no, I'm not indian, although both my kids are part Commanche) for helping them a long time ago.

BTW, I've never found a myth without some seed of truth...
