Had an interesting conversation with Associated IR today. Was curious about price action the last couple of days. "A" shares have been pretty quiet while the "B" shares have been drifting slightly downward on fairly heavy volume. What's up? IR told me that there was no news, BUT, I was told that all of Associated's employee stock options are vested in the "B" shares only. He was suggesting that this was accounting for the heavy volume. Does anyone with a better understanding of stock options than I have a take on this situation? It is my understanding and hope that we are close to hearing hard news on Trueposition. Can anyone theorize on the "B" stock activity in light of that possibility. Any ideas out there? biff
