Linda and all, I don't know for sure, but I hope there are Apple employees or management personnel eavesdropping on this site. What you are pointing out appears to be a serious weakness of the Mac environment. Perhaps Rhapsody will solve this problem, but until it's available, seems to me that this is a definitive reason for a group of potential customers to avoid Apple computers like the plague. Although the G3 is the faster computer available, if it cannot meet user needs, then it will not be purchased. Apple needs to address this issue and provide proactive solutions. FWIW, Sam P.S. PCQuote.com provides a streaming service for $14.95 per month for non-professionals, according to their advertisement. This seems like a great price, and I was wondering if anyone has tried the service or could comment on it (since this a a reasonably important off topic conversation). pcquote.com TIA
