Re: "AMD is a solid company with perhaps the best engineering minds in the world the money can buy!" Wrong answer. Check out today's Wall Street Journal and you'll find AMD in with the laggards. This company is a joke because of Jerry Sanders and his move with IBM is yet another attempt to stave off forced retirement.
