I am a little disappointed in the action for INTC today IF the action was
generated by the announcement of an alleged discussion of AMD & IBM.
Even if IBM gets into the game and helps AMD make K-6 chips, by the time
they ramp up, the K-6 will be obsolete. Does AMD have a next generation
in the R & D pipeline?

As for CPQ, I believe that you are correct about th near term and I am
upset with myself for not seeing the writing on the wall. But, intermediate
term, I don't believe the integration of DEC will be difficult. I just
think that COQ paid way too much for DEC. DEC could have been gotten
for 12%-20% less.

DELL and MSFT are the two stars.
