I am not particularly technically oriented, and would appreciate a brief explanation of GLW's LEAF technology, particularly an answer to the question of whether all fibre will ultimately be manufactured with this sophisticated capacity, or whether there will continue to be markets for various types.

And also, wasn't the demand in general supposed to go through the roof within the next few years because of increased need?

Does SPTR have anything like this, or does it have a similar product in development?
