I haven't seen it mentioned (tho I got on this thread fairly late and haven't caught every post) that NETZ is being featured, promoted, hyped (whatever) in the January issue of New Stock, a 12-page glossy freebie that i got through the mail a few days ago, which also has an article on HNLY & MCIK. The mag says outstanding shares are 30 mil with a 12 mil float. No other financial info, but it does describe the company's spiffy-sounding software tools (While You Wait, Sesame, echoRESPONSE & WebDeliver) & has a partial list of clients which include DEC, AOL, C/Net, CompuServe, Discovery Channel, Earthlink, TV Host, Kodak, Jumbo!, MSFT, PSI Net, Quarterdeck, Sirius, UAL, USA Today, Ziff Davis & World Village. Looks very nice, but it would read much better with numbers attached & the variance in the # of shares being bandied about is troubling. Like some, I called for more info and was promised a return call tomorrow which I doubt that I'll receive. Anyone live in Newport who can check these guys out in their nest? With or without financials, I think it's a good spec based on the DCLK IPO, although I expect DCLK to come down to NETV's level rather than vice-verse. My hunch is that they'll meet around 3, which should satisfy every NETV investor willing to wait around for it to happen. Shouldn't take all that long. |
