David, Thanks for starting this thread. I'm heavy into Nextel, but my next wireless purchase will be in PowerTel. My read is that Powertel has built out their network for much less than their competitors will spend. This is a company which will focus on the being the low cost "producer". And you are right, the incumbants have little incentive to chase Powertel into the lower margin business.
