Serry, All I know is that my mom of all people told me about this stock a year and a half ago when it was at a split adjusted $5 a share. At the time I was working in research for an investment bank in the technology group and I had never heard of the year 2000 problem or Viasoft. I look like a fool now but I have been following the stock ever since. One thing that gave the company and the stock a big boost in the recent past was the product endorsement by Anderson Consulting. Also alot of people have begun to determine that alot of their competitors products are somewhat inferior (DDIM)etc. Alot of aggresive mutual funds ie. Momentum players have taken positions in the stock. Insiders I believe own just under 29% of the company. This stock price is ridiculous even based on optimistic earnings projections. Too expensive to Buy to volatile to short. I will just have to lick my wounds and listen to my mother brag about her stellar stock pick.
