Whether or not spraying the outside of a Jazz drive with vaporized solutions will cause irreparable harm has no bearing on the measure of reliability experienced by Zip drive users. Moreover, forensic fingerprinting solution is often used to restore damaged media, at least that's what I've heard, so it's hardly surprising that the cartridge was readable.
