...Dub, you took the words right out of my mouth... todays late action reflected someone wanting in badly....seems everyone here is on a teckno-wiz kick, which is fine, but I'm gonna stick to a little fundamental stock action type stuff---in answer to Randy, institutions own 25% of wcii, so call it 8 mil shares--now ponder this---8 mil shares at high average $35 = $280 mil of wcii owned by institutions...take one of the bigger top 30 funds, say a $20 bil one...a 1.5% position for that one fund = $300 mil would totally account for all instit ownership..now clearly that isnt the case, many funds who own this stuff are in the less than a few billion range...but the point is, if this is a stock institutions have to own because of its magnificent national footprint, with monster rev growth, in a hot sector, and presently only 30 funds own it, in the words of Al Jolson "..you ain"t seen nothin yet"... |
