Jim,

It's nice to see such a bullish outlook on crus. I've been in for close to a year at an average of around 12. It does seem to be rather under valued. IMO this quarter is paramount to their stock price appreciation over the next 12 months or so. There was a major disappointment in the fourth quarter last year. If we can beat the estimates this quarter, that could get us into the teens(imo). If we disappoint this quarter, it could be a very long time before the street takes crus seriously.

They were listed 9th in the rating that was posted earlier. There were some pretty big names in that list. The fact that crus was last doesn't seem like a good thing but is it a plus that they even made the list at all? Who didn't make the list? It would great if someone who had the time could research the market caps and ps/pe/pb etc on the whole lot and compare the others in that list with crus (and maybe some that didn't make the list).

I still believe (wich I posted months ago) that once the oversupply problems in the dd sector abate and the mass storage stocks start to take off, that will help crus(it can't hurt anyway).

If you believe in the future of the current hard drive technology , mass storage (across the board) is a great investment right now. With multimedia the amounts of storage space required will increase at least ten fold over the next several years. The only thing keeping me from doing this is the possibility of new technology that makes current "hard drives" obsolete.

If crus has developed technology that greatly increases the per platter storage capacity of current drives (which they pretty much said in the last conference call) that could be a huge cash cow for the next 12-18 months. That's what the mass storage companies need right now. The more info you can store in a smaller space = less mfg costs for the same amount of storage and faster access times too.
