I have to agree. Stock price doesn't mean squat when comparing companies. Look at OCCF last March. Went from something like 20 to well over 140, and continued to climb and split. Stock price AND number of shares must be considered. One must also keep in mind that Microsoft has much higher margins.

AS FOR INTEL, I consulted my Ouigi Board, Psychic friend (from the network), and also Venus is in the house of Taurus. This can only mean that Intel will go up at this break-neck pace forever. Just kidding. Intel was the first stock I ever bought and I like it a lot. However, I don't love it. If you've made a lot of money from Intel, congrats. I've done pretty well myself with calls. However if you feel yourself falling in love with it, keep in mind that this will definately cloud your judgement (unless EVERYONE else whose invested in Intel LOVES it too). I'm not a fear monger. It's just that I've been burned by that europhoric feeling after making a lot of money from a stock and missing the best exit point. I only make these points because I know that little old me couldn't say a thing that would budge the price of Intel even 1/64 ths of a point. It is conceivable, however, that someone will listen and make more money by getting out before the inevitable correction.

My prediction (that will almost certainly be wrong to one extent or another) is that Intel will close between 112 and 116 tomorrow. I don't think the big boys will sink much more money into a stock with this kind of run up lately. There are people out there who would love to see a sell off in the next 10 trading days so that they can find a good entry point. I DO think that there are enough individual investors who will want to get in (maybe at the open) tomorrow to really push up the price. Then the market makers who got in after the close and before the open will sell off. Expect a big run early then a little retreat an hour or two after the open tomorrow.

As far as picking a top, who can say where it will be. As my options expire on Friday, I would love for someone to make some predictions to help me with my decision. Please keep in mind that I am taking a different perspective as I do not own the stock...only options and they will expire shortly.

Ted
