A few observations on past, present and possible future holdings:

TMBS - in the past few weeks, TMBS has established a clockwork pattern. four or five days up, then 3 days retracement followed by another 4-5 days up. How long can this go on? The fast stochastics hit 100 yesterday, but the slow stochastics just crossed again on the way up. I will hold and watch today and decide over the weekend when it's time to play pancakes and flip TMBS again. I wish someone would just buy them out at $23 - 24 and save me all this trouble...

OMKT - After wobbling a bit and hitting my stop, OMKT has new momentum and a price over $16. Anyone out there a fan of OMKT? I can't decide whether to get in based on the nice move up. What wobbles once could really crash the next time...or it could fly. Is this a value play or momentum? Company holding a seminar on E-commerce on March 3.

SYNT - 24 may have been the bottom for the SYNT retracement. We will see where it goes today. If it has hit bottom, then I would think about playing it for 1-2 point scalps. Look at AFCI's 3-month chart. A nice predictable sine wave. I shorted AFCI once for a couple of points. I would rather play SYNT long and buy again on the dips, like TMBS.

NOVL - breaking out on the chart but I'm not sure if the FA suports it beyond the current price. Any NOVL followers out there with an opinion?

MENT - BIG BREAKOUT ON HUGE VOLUME!! I have no idea why, but I'm glad I changed my short to a long at 9 5/8. Next resistance is at 12, then 13. Somebody really decided they like MENT's prospects. Thursday's trading was more than four times average volume.

More in the next message before my time limit runs out here...
