Whereas Microsoft is a software company, they can take someone else's idea (browsers, spread sheets, word processor, etc) and make them almost as good and market the h*ll out them.
Intel is a manufacturer but is not able to manufacture other's ideas (modems, nics, hubs, routers, all in one chips, etc) and sell them profitably.
IMO, this is where Intel has to meet the challenge and get to the next level.
Do you think Craig Barrett would feel this way and if he does, is he up to the challenge and or will the organization give him enough support to execute properly?
