I was close on the measurement. I invoked the government. There is a common theme among the SI denizens that nothing that transpires on SI can affect a stock price. I believe Franco dispelled that myth. He/she/it personally launched a buying frenzy of SI'ers that moved the price of the stock. To my knowledge there was no other movemement afoot anyplace else. No newsletters, no CNBC, no nothing. The inverse is that as usual, the company involved couldn't move as fast as the hype. There was no support at the post momentum dump level and the sucker collapsed. The price it's at is about to become a ridiculous undervaluation by trailing numbers. A future looking valuation accorded to a company in similar position without bad karma would be way higher. Buying today again.
