Re: Conference Call

That was some data. Debunking some bad info:
1) The 24 factories is a CA contribution only, and is a target figure for the year.
2) The factories in place now have not broken the umbilical and are still in IAI factory site.
3) There are 50 leads in work for sales at IAI alone, ignoring the other factory folks like Mantech.
4) No concrete date is available for being profitable, but this quarter could do it.
5) No date for completion on other products as the Beta test period is flexible. IDMS COBOL will come prior to other tools, and should be in internal use quickly. Knowing what they have I would guess internal use may occur by June or so.
6) Margins will be in line with other software companies.
7) The migration and conversion business is discussed as a focus for post 2000 work.
8) IAI uses 20 to 30 billion lines as a ballpark for all code in all of it's languages. No guess at market share.

Some things missing:
9) No data on the relative value expected from follow on vs. the 5.2 mill in hand. (You analysts missed the boat on this one. I couldn't get in a question as an independent!)
10) No data on rate of acceleration or capacity to perform which indicates the amount of revenue this quarter. A lines passed through per day figure would have been nice.
