Thread dead? Suggest you go here and you will get more drilling, general oil messages, OPEC discussions and opinions than you would care to read: Subject 12099 This thread goes in spurts. If no news releases by the company in particular or about boat biz, then it seems to be quiet. Do not read too much into it or view it as not reassuring. Last I heard from the CC of HMAR was that things were just grand. I also listened to TMAR'c cc and the outlook was cracking good there too. Unless their heads are in the sand, which is a possibility we need to watch out for, no news is good news. There is not much earnings risk in the next qtr or two since dayrates still going up. We are watching for indications of things which would affect dayrate moves a year from now. My opinion: The dayrates cannot remain at these high margin levels and should drop. I think the stock market has already factored in a major reduction - the bust in the boom and bust cycle. The issue is whether it is a bust or an easing of rates in the gulf. If it is anything but a bust, we are in fine shape.
