That does happen, but not to the extent that is showing up now. Once in awhile the buyer and seller will be from the same house, but the 009/012 combinations that have been occurring are no coincidence.

The up side is that unless you dump your shares, this activity will not have an impact on you. In fact, if you're lucky, you can pick up some shares when they are being artificially depressed. I sold all my MGR after the announcement about the reduced warrants - not because they were reduced, but instead because of the 1999 option price. It was very low, which told me that management and the warrant holders didn't have much confidence that the stock would rise much over the next year.

If/When the games start again, I will probably buy back in at 14 or 15. If Gold stays at 300 and the Mill re-opens by end of March, the stock should rebound to the mid 20's.
