Here here. I agree with your assessment. AMD is finally on the right track and they have forged some very important relationships with Compaq, DEC, IBM, Acer. Adding capacity was the next logical step. Obviously these customers must be confident in AMD's roadmap. And if they're entertaining AMD, they must not be so happy with Intel. You don't part ways with Intel unless you're unhappy with Intel's tactics. They realize that to keep Intel honest, they need AMD.
