Peg - As always, I find the following frequently-updated FAQ to be very useful when comparing brokers. It includes lots of comments from customers and lots of info. sonic.net Also useful are the threads on SI where people discuss the various brokerages, especially the threads for individual brokers. You can see how many people are happy, how many are griping, how problems are resolved, etc. Datek still has some limitations - like they might not have options trading yet. Check out the FAQ.
