I haven't been able to post today before now, but I have further observations re CC;

1. Pricing for ADS, IDMS, etc. work will be in the neighborhood of .30/LOC
2. The 50 leads currently in process was just what came in LAST WEEK. This will accelerate.
3. Time frame from initial lead to qualifying a client to working out details was not addressed.
4. Competition: Kevin Coyne said main difference between IA and competition is that IA tool is mainframe-based, eliminating complications of using PC for mainframe code correction.
5. Size of IDMS market is 500 sites that have CA maintenance contracts. Possible twice that many that don't. How do they address that market? By going through the IUA(IDMS Users Association). Also by the fact that many IDMS sites use other CA products but don't have IDMS maintenance contracts.
6. IA has participated in numerous CIO conferences worldwide with CA personnel, including Wang himself and will continue through May.
7. Post 2000 work pricing(migration) will be at more like 1.00-1.50/LOC. They have already had indications that current clients want to continue with this and have had to suggest to others that they can't do it yet or concurrent with y2K work.
8. They are making provisions to add yet more personnel, and have space for as many as 150 more. They added 35 or so last quarter.

My take: will be profitable this quarter but small. Size and number of engagements will grow through this and next quarter. Revenue "explosion" so long anticipated here may not show until Q3, assuming products reach general availability ON TIME.

Best to all.
