May I correct this a bit : "Thus all over the world, Internet access
will remain IMO in the realm of big Telecoms" This is not thrue for
the Netherlands, I myself are connected to the internet via
a LANcity cable modem, because in Holland are several cable companies
(not telco owned) that supply these services, we also have 2 or 3
independat ISP's and of course our national telco PTT (KPN). If you
know the size of the Netherlands you'll find that we have a significant numbers of ISP's to choose from.
