I called Investor relations for the second time at about 12:30 pm today. I spoke with Laura and expressed my most profound concern for CPQ's loss of valuation especially in light of dramatic gains from DELL, GTW, AAPL. I also reminded her that CPQ has a fiduciary responsibility to it's shareholders to maintain valuation and enhance it. She indicated that they have made a series of comments and press releases indicating that they are satisfied with their overall performance and that the issue of channels were addressed. She also indicated that her company does not have the ability to control the market place. I indicated that the marketplace appears to feel that the actions taken by CPQ have done little to maintain valuation and has in fact diminished it. I also indicated that despite their "efforts", not enough is being done and that a more proactive approach must be taken. She indicated that they are in a quiet period until the end of march-beginnig of april and that the next earnings report won't be out until mid april.

TTTTTT'That's all folks.
