Flamemaster Corporation Declares a Special 20% Stock Dividend

SUN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Flamemaster Corporation (Nasdaq: FAME - news), today announced that its Board of Directors declared a
special 20% stock dividend to be paid on April 9, 1998 to shareholders of record March 26, 1998. No fractional shares will be issued. Fractional shares will be
paid in cash at the rate of $6.25 per share.

Mr. Joseph Mazin, Flamemaster's CEO stated, ''The Company's solid performance of sustained profitability and success in new product development deserves
recognition.'' Mr. Mazin further stated that ''improving shareholder value continues to be a primary focus of the Company's Board of Directors; the stock dividend
