Hi Scott
It's nice to see someone else with their butts on the line reading this thread. I do not have anywhere near the shares that you have but it is probably a higher portion of my net investments. I bought 100,000 shares two years ago at an average cost of $2.60. Wish I could have averaged down.

Now that the company has their cash flows under control we should see an increase in sales. The financial stability of ObjectShare was a reason that many companies went with VisualAge. It is fortunate that this has occured around the same time that the VW 3.0 line is out and Parts for Java Pro is in beta.

I remember three years ago when ParcPlace was just starting to build their Java product (a design since canceled), Smalltalk was expected to be dead in three years. Still ParcPlace hit a high of $15 that year. Now Smalltalk is projected to continue to grow through the year 2000 and ObjectShare has a Java product (which will soon have the features necessary for a corporate entry) - and the price is only $1.50. ObjectShare needs to make only 5 cents a quarter to be worth double at a PE multiple of 15. If costs and margins were fixed, ObjectShare could turn their recent $.12 annual loss into a $.20 gain with just $4.5 million in revenues. That's not very many licenses considering the company that averaged $6 million in license revenue a quarter a couple of years ago without the quality and breadth of their current line or the market potential as we have today for oo development tools.
