Breaking the 200 day (simple) moving average means someone is in the money if he started buying 200 days ago and has bought the same number of shares every day. Is it of any importance? I don't know, but i think a lot of people follow trends. Breaking the 200 day MA shows that the longterm trend turned around. Jurgen
