I spoke again today with Cienna IR to see if I could any information on the Bell Atlantic negotiations or any other contract. I got very little information, but here it is:

1. I asked about contracts generally and was told that "there's lots of things in the pipeline."

2. I asked about the status of any Bell Atlantic contract. I was told that IR "was the last to know" about these things, but that "they [Bell Atlantic] did mention us [CIEN] as a supplier of DWM at a Bell Atlantic analyst meeting."
