Thomas,
Are you concerned about possible ruble weakness when you invest in Russian companies? Also, do you see Inkombank as a long-term hold? I just returned to the states after three years in Russia (Vladivostok and Moscow) and I didn't see too much worth investing in. The great Russian equity gains occurred several years ago. Moscow City Telephone was an unbelievable buy at several dollars a share in 1990; at $1,500 a share (or whatever it's recent price is--I haven't checked in a while) it's not quite as attractive. And the second wave of great Russian equity plays are probably being developed right now in someone's garage. I too am bullish on Russia, but it's definitely a LONG term play . . .
Regards,
Craig A. Anderson
