Are you speaking of valuation according to historical standards? When long term rates were above 7%? Just what is your criteria for measuring value?

Apart from the excellent reasons given by SP Mach, Message 3552518, for why Dell will continue to grow, why would any investor want to buy an underperforming asset? We obviously don't care how it goes up, we're paying for the fact that we won't get an earnings warning blaming SE Asia for shortfalls. The simple fact is, we're paying for performance and outstanding performance at that. As for "mooching off MSFT and INTC", I guess I don't understand what you are trying to communicate there.
