Hi all, a quick note before the meeting starts. We all went on a tour of the offices this morning. It was well worth the trip. Helen met us all at the door and led us from department to department. We were introduced to people in each department that gave us insight to what they were doing and how they did it. For example Diane McCarthy explained their some of the goals of the marketing area and showed us the picture of their NEW booth that will have its debut next week at the trade show. Onward we moved to the box that GTE has bolted down in Ftels offices. Very impressive setup. I will let the techno people talk about this later. We than went through the Sales area where Neil and Peter took the time to answer some questions. Than we moved on to engineering where we saw what a DVG looks like inside, very cool. We next went to the subsidiary malibu where we saw the area that designs webb sites. Very exciting things happening there as well. More on that another time. we than went over to where the build these babies. Very organized and they are poised to answer the bell when called upon. Finally we witnessed a demo by neil in which he dialed over AT&T line to their NYC DVG than called back over the tempest to westlake village. The clarity on this call was excellent even over a speaker phone it was clear as a bell with a nanu second delay. Finally I was allowed to make 1 call using the Tempest. I called my wife. Folks this was a perfect connection my wife sounded like any other call from around the corner. Perfect Toll Quality. VERY IMPRESSIVE indeed.
