Try these for rationale: RADAF tries to obtain licensing agreements on favorable terms with (Disney, Nintendo) but is unable, but they know (industry scuttlebutt, drinking buddies) Toymax has done so, thus making them an attractive purchase. Perhaps they just want to hire their kind of talent intact rather than build it in-house. They want an immediate East Coast presence, distribution network, etc., and Toymax gives it to them...with a successful toy business included. Chaz.
