It seems so at the Univ. of Maryland, College Park and Univ. of California, Berkeley. A recent check of their computer stores showed no Syquest or LS-120, plenty of zips & carts. No Jaz either, though some Jaz carts. However, at UCB, the main campus store is the smaller of two operations; the larger one also sells computers and runs a web site advertising special Iomega prices for campus.

This outfit, "Scholars Workstation", has a Iomega section on the web site. Current prices:
SCSI Zip $129
External Jaz $289
External Jaz 2-GB, $599
Jaz cart, $79
zip cart, $14 or 10pack for $100

No Syquest/LS-120 or anything else are mentioned.
