Doerr didn't exactly plug XCIT. What he did was comment that it is too late for new search engine companies to get in. He mentioned YHOO and XCIT as examples of some that will make it. Dobbs asked if Doerr thought this current run would be the end for the search engines. Doerr responded - rather emphatically I thought - NO.. we're just beginning to exploit e-commerce. I guess that's sort of a plug.

Don't forget those 3 Million shares of insider selling hanging over our heads - filed this week. I've been in other hot issues when they dropped that shoe on my head. Ouch!

Just in: Marc Klee of John Hancok Mutual Funds is on Capitol Ideas. He says search engines are extended, and recommends going to the content providers, like NTKI, SPLN, EGRP.

This next week is going to be very volatile. Rest up for the battle.<g>
