very soon the party will be over. At my company most of these machines are used for cc-mail. Imagine a 266MHZ with multimedia to send and receive mail, and the big boys are noticing. In the next year when Microslap forces everyone to upgrade again most people will realize what a scam it has been all along. Even INTEL is moving away from this computing model and shifting towards a network centric model, which = cheap devices for specific apps. Consumers are starting to wise up also and are switching to cheaper PC's = sub $1000 noname PC's which are just as good. Imagine buying a new TV every 2 years because you cannot tune in to 90% of the channels. Networking is the future, and I do not see DELL anywhere in that picture. Companies of the future = ORCL,INTL,SUNW,IBM. These are the visionaries. One question to all of you, what has dell ever invented. so enjoy the cash while it lasts then do something productive in your lives. Auf Wiedersehen
