It is interesting, Jeff, that the market has now
valued DELL as high as General Motors! $140 a share!
In the middle of '95, DELL was 2.39 (1.20 based upon
666 M. shares). A year ago, when DELL was at 25 (65 X
its '1990 Cap) their earning and revenues were both about
two-thirds as high as in this recent "blow-out"
quarter. Hewlett-Packard probably earned more in
this past (soon to announce) quarter as DELL did all
last year. Post-split, we're looking at about 660 M
shares here -- That's only a third less than HWP. Is
Michael Dell paying somebody off?
