Yeah, but the problem is that you have to trust the same guys who wire up your home, who have their hands full with squirrels eating through lines, to provide a high tech network. It will take these guys 10-15+ years to get their act together. In the meantime, satellite bent-pipe backbones, IMO, will be the answer. Take a look at the Feb issue of Boardwatch. You can get an article on satellite cache technology on the www.skycache.com website.

Yes, I don't think any one technology will dominate for the next 10 years or longer. There's'just too much stuff going on. We'll see... it's going to be an exciting time.
