I can relate to this experience. About three years ago I was trying convince a friend to use CheckFree, at the time the monthly charge was $9.95 for 20 bills, he said it was more expensive than stamps. About a year later CheckFree lowered it's rates to $5.95 for 20 bills. Although the cost was about break-even depending on the number of bills, he decided to go with CheckFree(and lived happily ever after). As stamps get more expensive, I wonder if we will see more people switching to CheckFree. Five years from now how much will a stamp cost?
