Somewhat tragically, I've actually had to do some work after
my 3 week vacation in Nth America. But, I spent most of my lunchtime
scanning, if not actually digesting, the last 550 posts in order to
catch up. The highlights, as far as I can tell, were :-
* A resurgence of David S/I hatemail
* A big group hug (safe techniques practiced I hope)
* Approval of Class V well with double the daily throughput allowed.
* KZAP's termination and subsequent reappearance.
I guess you know which one I think is the most significant...
By the way, Leanne and I had a great time in the USA and Canada. It was
interesting to meet an anonymous e-mail penpal (PeterR1700) and sorry to
Emergencyops for missing you, but we just ran out of time on the way back
through LA. The food was fantastic, the sights impressive and the people
universally friendly and helpful. Elvis presided over our vow renewal in
Vegas, the Canadian skiing was great, and San Fran was fascinating. We
enjoyed ourselves so much, we're planning our return after the arrival
of little Durros in the next year or three.
Anyhow, great to see CSMA forging ahead with its subsidiary growth. I truly
feel that patience will be rewarded and that better times are not too far
away.
I'm still a little laggy from the 11 time zones, so I'll be back when my
brain is in a higher gear. Sorry about consuming bandwidth with social
chit chat, but it's nice to be back on line with friends and sparring
partners again.
