The closing remark could take BORL down a point in memory of Open. I am sure cooler heads will prevail at the end of the day since this is a historical reference. Instead of buying a company called Open, they have bought a company delivering open technology, much better.

The acquisition of the San Mateo, Calif., ORB maker followed the purchase of middleware vendor Open Environment Corp. in 1996.
